MCLEANSBORO [mdash] Barbara P. Trausch, 76, of McLeansboro, IL passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at the McLeansboro Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 27, 1940 to Frank and Louise (Baechle) Trausch in Piopolis, IL. Barbara is survived by one brother; Harold Trausch of Dahlgren, IL, and four sisters; Eleanor Trausch of McLeansboro, IL, Marcella Trausch of McLeansboro, IL, Marie Hopkins of McLeansboro, IL and Margaret Ragan of Wayne City, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Paul, Bill and Edward Trausch, and four sisters; Florence Michlik, Rosanna Trausch, Caroline Gunter and Eileen Salmon. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Piopolis, IL. with Father Slawomir Ptak officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. conducted by Deacon Archie Bowers. The Gholson Funeral Home of McLeansboro is in charge of arrangements.
